Walnut, Lentil & Turkey Sloppy Joes

16 ounces ground turkey
1 cup green lentils
1 cup walnuts
Sauce
2 tbsp local honey
1/2 cup sugar free ketchup
7 ounces tomato paste or marina sauce
1 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup almond milk, or water
HOW TO PREPARE:

Wash and cook the lentils. Place in a pan with 3 cups water. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low with a lid for 20 minutes, or until liquid is gone.

While that is cooking, add the ground turkey and walnuts to a hot pan with a little bit of coconut oil. Cook until meat it fully cooked through.

Mix all the ingredients for your sauce.

When everything is cooked, mix together in a large bowl.
Option to add shredded carrots, cooked onions, or other veggies! -
Enjoy over a bun with massaged kale and purple cabbage.
