Everyday Crispy Panko Tofu

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
1 block extra firm tofu
2 tbsp arrowroot powder
4 tbsp liquid aminos
2 tbsp maple syrup
BONUS DRESSING:
1/2 juice of a lime
1/4 tsp chili paste
2 tbsp liquid aminos
1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp maple syrup
HOW TO PREPARE:

Set oven to 415 F

Squeeze excess water from tofu

Cut tofu into 1 inch-ish cubes

Pour Panko crumbs into a bowl

Place 1/2 of your tofu cubes in a flat bowl/dish, pour 2 tbsp liquid aminos over the tofu, then 1 tbsp maple syrup, mix gently, then evenly sprinkle 1 tbsp arrowroot powder over as well

Mix everything gently until the tofu is coated with all ingredients

1 by 1 coat the tofu cubes in the Panko, then place on a lined baking tray

Repeat steps 5-7 with the other half of the tofu cubes

Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping half way through
