3 Thought Patterns Keeping You Feeling Stuck

Thought patterns are a genuine favorite topic over here!
I truly love talking about the mind and how it functions, as I find that if I do not actively work on my mindset, I enter into a realm of victimhood and suffering.

Your mind is like a garden. It can grow weeds, and it can grow flowers.

The weeds are the limiting-thoughts and excuses that grow and burrow their way into our beliefs.

The flowers are the positive, optimistic thoughts that support us in feeling empowered and capable of anything we desire.

Often times, our mindset is our biggest obstacle.


I believe we are all meant to have a mind that serves us, not the opposite way around. However, I feel that many of us feel like a slave to the mind, and have no power over it. We feel defeated and out of control. Let me know in the comments if you feel this way.

Here are 3 thought-patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck in your growth:

1. I DON'T WANT TOO

2. I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT

3. I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME

These are all thoughts that we give A LOT of power too.

And that's all that they are....thoughts.

You know what else are powerful thoughts?

  1. I CAN AND I WILL

  2. I AM SO I CAN

  3. I ORGANIZE MY LIFE SO WELL, THAT I HAVE TIME FOR EVERYTHING I NEED

You can give power to fear-based thoughts, or love-based thoughts.

It's actually a training and skill you need to develop and work on daily.

Plucking out the thoughts, limiting beliefs and excuses that keep you stuck requires an awareness of what you're allowing yourself to listen to on a daily basis.

You are not meant to be a slave to your mind, you're meant to be the master of it.

Your mind is a tool, designed to help you interpret life and receive what you want.

To leave you with a bit of homework…

1. DEVELOP A STRONGER AWARENESS REGARDING WHAT YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO THINK ABOUT

2. NOTICE HOW YOU FEEL WHEN YOU’RE UNCOMFORTABLE, THEN CHECK IN WITH WHAT YOUR MIND IS THINKING

3. CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS BY FOCUSING ON THE OPTIMISTIC VIEWPOINT FROM WHATEVER IT IS YOU’RE THINKING

This will help you rip out the weeds, and water your flowers.
